June 29th
This was a great day! The kids and I
spent the day at a water park with good
friends Shannon, Grace and Graham. At
the top of this large water piece is a bucket
that tips every few minutes, dumping hundreds
of gallons of water. The kids loved screaming,
"NO, DON'T DO IT!"

June 30th
Running through the sprinkler at Grandma and
Papa's house. Papa also says, "What ever you do,
don't get wet."

I am not sure what this was suppose to be
but Sophie sure was proud of it!


July 2nd
Our 4th of July tradition continues at
The Beach House. This night there
was not only a fireworks show, but a lighting
show at the same time. It was beautiful!


July 3rd
Sophie has become the queen of sending
mail. She will spend so much time coloring
and decorating notes for people.
I love her heart!


July 6th
Swimming at the lake!

Sophie and her last day of swim class.
She loved anything that did not require
getting her face wet.

Week 23

June 7th
Enjoying a hot day with cool Popsicles. Sitting
on Gracie's back porch with Ian.



June 8th
Back in Jonah's pool for another swim. What a
great way to spend a summer day.




June 9th
Today the kids and I met Grandma for lunch
and a little shopping.



When we got home from lunch the kids got to
tye-dye with the summer staff. They showed
their creativity.



Oliver did not even need to use rubber bands
on his shirt.



June 10th
Ryan had a day off work so we escaped to
Eric and Shirley's house for an afternoon of
swimming. Uncle Phil spent the afternoon
with us too.



June 12th
Happy birthday to Grace and Jonah. They had
a pirate's and princess party. The kids had a
great time.

June 13th

Dad and some other staff put together a band
for the campers for this week. It was so much
fun to see how much everyone enjoyed the
singing.

Week 22

May 30th
Spending the day swimming with Jonah in
his new pool.

June 1st

What a fun afternoon. The video staff was
having a training day, so they came to our house
to take video and pictures of the kids as they played.
It was our own personal photo shoot.



June 4th
Today was opening day for the new lodge at
camp. They were giving boat rides around the
lake. Here is Sophie driving the boat.

Later in the day, we hung out at Grandma and
Papa's house. Here is Grandma on the back
of Jeremy's bike.



June 5th
The staff is back which means lots more duck,
duck, goose.

Weeks 19, 20, and 21

May 14th

Grandma and I went to a Mother's Day dinner
at our church. I won the large prize which was a
hanging basket and also the center piece. Another
plant for my porch. I was very excited.



May 17th

We went to visit good friends, Scott and Deanna
and their new baby girl, Audrey.



May 18th

You guys went worm digging today and you found
Ollie the worm. He apparently likes underdogs on
the swing and the be tossed down the slide. You two
had so much fun digging in the dirt and playing with
him.



May 20th

Today was your last day of gymnastics until the
summer. We all love your teacher, Miss. Nika.



May 22nd

Our first trip to the zoo this year. Here is Oliver
with Bill the Lion. He is actually this close to him.



Every year we take a picture of the two of you
in this tent. You are getting so big.



We let you play in the fountain in your clothes.

May 23rd

Sophie found my boats under my bed and they
just had to try them on.



May 25th

Driving through St. Louis with my mom and dad
on our way to spend some time with Jeff and his
family.



May 26th

Oh my sweet Cora! She is growing up into
such a beautiful young girl.



Lincoln is Mr. Adventurous and Claire is not
far behind.



Elise become my little buddy the few short days
I got to spend with her.



May 28th

Back home again in Indiana! This was a perfect
day to go on a puddle hunt and in our neighborhood
there are a lot of puddles to find.
