Weeks 19, 20, and 21

May 14th

Grandma and I went to a Mother's Day dinner
at our church. I won the large prize which was a
hanging basket and also the center piece. Another
plant for my porch. I was very excited.



May 17th

We went to visit good friends, Scott and Deanna
and their new baby girl, Audrey.



May 18th

You guys went worm digging today and you found
Ollie the worm. He apparently likes underdogs on
the swing and the be tossed down the slide. You two
had so much fun digging in the dirt and playing with
him.



May 20th

Today was your last day of gymnastics until the
summer. We all love your teacher, Miss. Nika.



May 22nd

Our first trip to the zoo this year. Here is Oliver
with Bill the Lion. He is actually this close to him.



Every year we take a picture of the two of you
in this tent. You are getting so big.



We let you play in the fountain in your clothes.
What a wet, fun time.



May 23rd

Isn't she beautiful?



Here is Oliver working in the mud.



May 24th

Sophie found my boats under my bed and they
just had to try them on.



May 25th

Driving through St. Louis with my mom and dad
on our way to spend some time with Jeff and his
family.



May 26th

Oh my sweet Cora! She is growing up into
such a beautiful young girl.



Lincoln is Mr. Adventurous and Claire is not
far behind.



Elise become my little buddy the few short days
I got to spend with her.



May 28th

Back home again in Indiana! This was a perfect
day to go on a puddle hunt and in our neighborhood
there are a lot of puddles to find.

Weeks 17 and 18

April 23rd (Easterpalooza 2012)

We had a very exciting and tiring day traveling
around to different Easter activities in the area.
Starting with the Easter bunny, Lowes for a
birdhouse craft, Steak N Shake, park, egg hunt,
another craft time and finally ending at home
with egg coloring. A very fun and very tiring
day.



April 24 Happy Easter

I made each kid a felt binder for them to take
with them where ever we go.



Beautiful girl! Today at church she got on stage
to sing with some other children at church.
Sophie "rocked it out" as we call it. She stole the
show and made everyone very happy.



I love these two!



This Easter bunny was finished by the end of
the day.



Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Papa's.





One of my favorite memories with my dad
is coloring eggs and eating them on Easter.
I am so grateful Sophie is able to share in these
memories.



And then there is Oliver.



April 26th

We had parent/teacher conferences today and
Sophie did amazing. I know it is preschool, but
she does her best and we are so proud of her.



April 27 Happy Anniversary

Today Sophie lost her first tooth (4 years old).
I made her tooth fairy pillow from one of her baby
skirts. It turned out so cute.



It is also our 9th anniversary! Oh happy day!



April 28th

Oliver and I went on a field trip to a fire station
with our Mops group. It was not a good listening
day.



May 1st

Sophie cut her own hair. I have nothing to say.



May 2nd

This hair was just discovered in the trash can
in Sophie's room. Notice the trash can says,
"Express Your Talents". Well, she did.



May 3rd

Well, I had to keep this on record too. Even if
it is not at all a good memory but it is a memory
non the less. We discovered lice last night and
are now on the road to recovery.



May 4th

Now we are on a mayonnaise treatment.
Somehow she is still so cute.



May 5th

Oliver's turn.



May 7th

Back to the real world and out to eat for
Mother's Day at Applebee's.





May 8th Happy Mother's Day

Grandma and Papa brought flowers for the
kids to plant. Then we had dinner outside, roasted
marshmallows and took a walk.

May 9th

I couldn't take the porch anymore. So I pulled
the baker's rack from the kitchen and put some
plants on it.


May 12th

We are a one-car family again. Leaving us
to get creative with our transportation. Ryan
borrowed this bike rider from Shannon and the
boys head to the library for Book Buddies.



May 13th

Gymnastics with Miss. Nika. We love Miss Nika.
