Weeks 14 15, and 16

April 5

Daddy is still working hard on the swing set.
Today Chris came over to help. The kids are
waiting so patiently.



April 6

Yay! The swing set is up and running (or swinging).
The kids are loving it and having so much fun.



April 7

Well, no swinging today. We spent the day at
Grandma and Papa's lying on the couches taking
medicine all day.



April 8

Oliver was not up much this weekend but here
is one shot of him playing with Daddy.



April 9

Family weekend is finally here. The kids got
to go to an Easter egg hunt in the morning.
Notice Oliver is not in the picture.

We stayed in the cottage Sandy Kay. The kids
loved having bunk beds so much that they spent
a lot of time playing in them.

We got to pet alpacas this week at story time.
Oliver got the hole the lead and he loved getting
to be this close to this baby alpaca.

Sophie made a cake for Papa's birthday and
even made flames on top of the candles.

I got to spend the day shopping with Danni
from Impact buying decor for the new lodge
in Epworth. It was such a fun day.

Mini organizers I have been making for a little
extra money. These are for a local coffee shop.

Today was a special day. Our friend Alexis hid
eggs in the yard for the kids to find. Hidden inside
the eggs were clues leading to a little gift for
each of them.

Week 13

March 28

It is that time of year. Time to start pulling out
the summer toys. Today Dad got down your
jeep and no time was wasted it getting in and
riding around town (or our yard).

This week at story time you were all different
animals who were ate up by a snake. That is until
the snake sneezed. Everyone was laughing so
hard.

In my mom's group last week we planted some
seeds in our handmade flower pots. After a week
and some sun, my herbs have actually started
to grow.

We went out to eat with our good friend Jayma
and her new hubby, Dave. By the end of dinner,
Dave was a good friend too.

Weeks 10, 11, & 12

March 8

Today was a hard day, I was not feeling well and
Daddy had to be at Camp Adventure all day and
night for meetings. We got to go to CA for dinner
and here you two are with Jonah throwing rocks
down the hill. Later that night I had the flu.
The one thing I remember is how well the two of
you did while I was sick.



March 9

The second Thursday of each month Oliver
gets to go to "Book Buddies" at the library.
We have a story time and then the parents leave
the room to go make a take home activity while
the kids get to have some creative learning time.
He loves this class. We always get to take
a hard cover book home to keep of the story from
the night. This night was pajama night and we
took home the book "Llama, Llama Red Pajama".
One of our new favorites.



March 11

This was a very fun evening for the two of us.
Steve and Gayle gave us a date night for Ryan's
birthday and we were finally able to cash it in.
After dropping the kiddos off with
GG and Poppie, we headed to the Melting
Pot. This was a new adventure for us. We had
filet mignon, ratatouille, duck, lobster tail and many
other fun treats.
A few hours later, however, Ryan and Sophie both
had the flu. It was a long night but thanks for GG
and Poppie.





March 12

Recovering from the night we had, GG and Oliver
work on making muffins for dinner. He is such
a good little helper.



After dinner, was bath time. Or was it swimming
time. Either way, they both got clean.



March 13

Our first and maybe last adventure to
Chuck E. Cheese's. Sophie is enjoying the
bike ride.



March 14

The 3 of us had a pretend campfire in the
front yard. We even had marshmallows on
straws. It was so much fun!



March 15

Poppie was here for a couple of days helping
daddy. Here he is taking a break to read a
story to the kids. Grace was enjoying the story
too.



March 16

Uncle Phillip came for the evening to visit and
have dinner. Here is everyone going for a
walk around camp.



March 19

One of mommy's dearest friends, Jayma
got married today to Dave. It was such a wonderful
day and they make a great couple.



March 21

Again, Oliver having fun in the bathroom. He
is getting good at brushing his teeth.



March 22

Our neighbor from our old house and good
friend Marian came over for lunch. Afterwards,
Sophie and Marian played card games together.



March 23

This was an exciting (and hard) day. We went
to the Ark Preschool Open House to sign Oliver
up for preschool. Sophie will be in the older preschool
class and Oliver will be in the younger class.
How time flies.



March 24

My mops group is the "Orange" group. Our
last meeting we played "Minute to Win It" and
as you can see from the score board, we won
and had so much fun doing it.



March 25

We had a camp out in the family room tonight
with popcorn and marshmallows. We watched
"Stewart Little" and slept out there all night.
Can't wait to do this again.

Alexis and Jonah invited us over for a cookie
decorating party. Yum and fun!

I got to have a girls night out with some ladies
from Mops. We went to a fashion show and it
was such a great time. It was just like being in
the big city, well as close as we are going to get
to the big city.



March 27

Just about when I was ready to have a melt
down from being so tired, Oliver goes and does
something so cute that makes me laugh. Giving
me the energy to keep going. He was pretending
to be a ghost. I just love him!
